Refund Policy

At Arahant Holidays, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and providing clear guidelines regarding refunds. Below are the terms and conditions that govern our refund policy.

Unforeseeable event

  • Non-Refundable Events: If the tour or any part of it cannot be conducted due to unforeseen circumstances such as Force Majeure or Vis Majeure events (including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, pandemics, or government restrictions), Arahant Holidays shall not be liable to provide any refund.

  • Company’s Discretion: In exceptional cases, at our sole discretion, we may offer a partial refund. This decision will consider factors such as the number of participants, the cancellation policies of our suppliers (such as hotels and transport operators), and other relevant circumstances. The decision of Arahant Holidays regarding the amount of refund shall be final and binding.

  • Processing Time: If a refund is approved, it may take between 15 to 45 days to process the refund. Please note that this timeframe is an estimate and actual processing times may vary.

Non-Utilized Services

  • No Refund for Unutilized Services: If the client does not or cannot utilize any part of the services included in the tour package (such as accommodations, sightseeing, meals, entrance fees, optional tours, etc.), no refund will be provided for the unutilized portion of the tour, regardless of the reason.

Refunds for Amendments and Cancellations

  • Refund Method: Refunds for amendments and/or cancellations will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. For payments made via bank transfer, NEFT/RTGS, or credit/debit cards, refunds will be processed back to the respective account or card. Refund processing may take 15 to 45 days.

  • Refund for Services Booked in Advance: Any service booked in advance and subsequently canceled according to the booking policy will be refunded after deducting applicable cancellation charges and actual bank fees, if any. The refund will be processed using the original payment method, and the refund process may take 15 to 45 days to reflect in the client’s account.

Refund Option: Credit Certificate

  • Credit Certificate Option: Clients have the option to retain their refund amount as a credit certificate with Arahant Holidays. This credit certificate can be used for future bookings within a period of 24 months from the date of issue.

Conditions of Travel

  • Adherence to Tour Program: Clients are required to strictly follow the tour itinerary. No refund will be provided if the client fails to join the group at the tour’s commencement, joins later, or leaves the group before the tour ends. It is the client’s responsibility to arrive at the designated meeting point on time.

  • Discontinuation of Tour: In cases where a client, for any reason including illness, death, or loss of travel documents, discontinues the tour, no claim for a refund will be entertained for unutilized services.

  • No-Show Policy: If a client fails to reach the place of tour commencement due to any reason, including loss of baggage or travel documents, it will be treated as a “no-show,” and 100% cancellation charges will be applied.

  • Pre-Tour Services: If a client avails pre-tour services (e.g., air tickets or hotel bookings) but does not join the main tour, the booking will be treated as a “no-show,” and no refund will be provided for the unutilized services.

  • Behavioral Conduct: Arahant Holidays reserves the right to terminate the participation of any client whose behavior is deemed disruptive or harmful to the tour experience or the safety of other participants. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

Liability and Insurance

  • Limited Liability: The liability of Arahant Holidays in any claim arising from the tour is limited to the total amount paid for the tour. We are not liable for any consequential, incidental loss, or additional expenses.

  • Travel Insurance: It is strongly recommended that clients purchase travel insurance to cover potential risks during the trip. While Arahant Holidays may assist in procuring insurance at the client’s expense, it remains the client’s responsibility to ensure they are adequately covered.

Pricing and Surcharges

  • Price Amendments: The prices quoted on our website or brochure are based on rates prevailing at the time of publication. Arahant Holidays reserves the right to amend these prices in response to changes in fuel costs, high-season charges levied by suppliers, airline/rail fare increases, or other cost factors before departure. The client is required to pay any such price increases in full before departure.

Legal Jurisdiction and Time Limits

  • Legal Action: Any suit or legal action against Arahant Holidays must be filed within 7 days of the last day of the tour. After this period, Arahant Holidays shall be discharged from all liabilities under or arising out of this contract, and the client shall be deemed to have relinquished all claims.

Changes to Promotional Offers

  • Promotional Schemes: Arahant Holidays reserves the right to withdraw any promotional scheme or discount at any time, unless specifically assured otherwise in writing.
